New Iomega DVR Expander Drive Adds Incremental Storage for Digital Video Recorders

Iomega announced today its new DVR Expander Drive, a 500 gigabyte drive that increases the storage capacity of digital video recorders (DVRs). The drive expands users' DVR storage capacity by as much as 300 hours of stand-definition TV or 60 hours of high-definition TV. The DVR Expander works with e-SATA enabled Scientific Atlanta DVRs, used by cable service providers COX, Time Warner, Cablevision, Comcast and Rogers, among others.
