smartmania got information about an upcoming
E-Ten Glofiish
Windows Mobile smartphone called the DX900 which is expected to be announced
next month in Taipei during the Computex. According to smartmania, the DX900,
which looks quite similar to the
Glofiish V900,
features dual-SIM which means you can operate it with two SIM cards (quite handy
for international roaming or mobile data) at the same time. Furthermore the
DX900 is expected to run on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and featuring
quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as triband UMTS/HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, WiFi
b/g, GPS (SiRF Star III) and an FM radio:
The DX900 is said to be powered by a Samsung CPU at 533 MHz which is
backed-up by 256 MB ROM and 128 MB RAM which can be expanded with microSD cards.
The 2.8" touchscreen supports 640 x 480 pixel (VGA) and the main camera on the
backside is said to be a 3 megapixel autofocus camera. Furthermore, theDX900
features a front-facing QVGA cam for UMTS video-telephony.
Unlike the Glofiish V900, the DX900seems to miss mobile TV (DVB-T or DVB-H as
supported with the V900).
A price and release date is yet unknown.
