The massively popular console game Mass Effect is now officially available for PC. EA says that the game is available across America and carries an M for mature rating. The MSRP for the game is $49.99 at all major retail outlets.

If pop is a gamer this would make a really nice father’s day gift. Mass Effect is fully optimized for the PC and downloadable content is already available for the game. The PC version is optimized for higher resolution than the console version. Mass Effect should be one of the coolest games for PC to hit this year.

If you have already played Mass Effect on the Xbox 360 and plan to buy it for PC the new features of the game like a new encryption mini-game and new controls should make it worth the money.
